Wolf trouble pt 3 Avengers x Wolf-hybrid reader

         You looked up expectantly at the director as he placed a large stack of papers on the table. He made sure to look at every person there in the eye –you weren’t sure why exactly but you did know it took a bit of time for the lone working eye to make its round- before he cleared his throat.

“As you all know S.H.E.I.L.D is adamant in trying to stop Hydra. Well it seems (name) has peaked their interest.”

“Then, we shall protect her.”  Thor declared. You flashed him the most gracious smile you could muster before returning your attention to Nick.

“Why do they want her?” Tony asked while he sent a wink in your direction. You rolled your eyes and hoped that it was the Russian beauty next to you that was on the receiving end of that. Nonetheless you made a promise to yourself to ignore all flirtation he might try.

“Doesn’t Hydra deal with cloning?”  Clint inquired from the far end of the table, his chair pushed away from the table edge just far enough to where you couldn’t see his face.  You hastily brought your gaze down to the tabletop once you realized that you were craning your neck in an attempt to get a glance of the quiet man.

“They’ve done it in the past.” Nick briskly stated.

“(Name) you already said you have greater hearing than humans what other things do you have?” Bruce inquired as he stared into your eyes after you removed your line of vision from the table.

“Well I have night vision, I can smell like ten times better than a normal person can and I can usually tell if something is off in the nature that’s surrounding me. But I don’t see how that would be clone worthy.”

“With Hydra’s last cloning attempt they wanted to make the perfect weapon. What if they’re trying to it again?” Natasha commented while she flicked her eyes over everybody in the room. Most of the people in the room, meaning everyone but you, Nick and Natasha, seemed to contemplate that idea for a moment.

“I don’t see how my wolf qualities would make a perfect weapon.” You spoke with a hint of confusion in your voice.

“Maybe not alone, but if it was added to other qualities they could be.”  Natasha replied with her all knowing smile.

“So are we going to find and protect anyone else Hydra is interested in then?” Steve questioned just before the room door was knocked upon.

“Come in!” Nick consented and soon the door was swiftly pushed open. An agent quickly darted in and thrust a small bundle of papers into his boss’s hands as he whispered in his ear. Nick nodded  without saying a word and the agent took his leave.

“We do not need to do that Steve. It seems Hydra has a traitor on their hands and he has told our intelligence everything.” Nick assured while he passed out the papers.  You scanned the paper in search of vital clues to who they were after, but it was Tony who found it first.

  “Congrats Capcicle Hydra wants to make you the proud father of a super soldier wolf hybrid.” Tony laughed just as you found that paragraph. Sure enough there in black and white it was stated that Steve DNA, the one infused with the serum, and yours would be combined to hopefully produce a clone with the abilities of both its “parents”.  You actually grew interested in what it was talking about and soo n you were pulled into the paper and zoned from the rest of the world.

“Do you know why a Hydra employ is betraying them?  It seems shifty to me.” Clint enquired. The sound of his voice brought you back into focus of what was around you and with that you slowly lowered your paper.

“It is being investigated. Meanwhile read over what I have given you.” Nick announced before he left the room.
